Return & Refund Policy

At Kiru Ondo, every purchase is created or curated with care. We strive to provide high-quality artwork, prints, home décor, and lifestyle products that meet our customers' expectations.

Please read this Return & Refund Policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. Return Eligibility

Eligible items may be returned within 14 calendar days of the delivery date.

To qualify for a return, the item must:

  • Be unused and in its original condition

  • Be free from damage, stains, or alterations

  • Include all original packaging, tags, certificates, and accessories

  • Be accompanied by proof of purchase or order confirmation

Kiru Ondo reserves the right to deny returns that do not meet these requirements.

2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are considered final sale and are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Original artwork

  • One-of-a-kind paintings

  • Commissioned artwork

  • Custom-made or personalized products

  • Limited edition artwork marked as Final Sale

  • Digital products or downloadable files

  • Gift cards

  • Membership fees or subscription services already used

  • Clearance or sale items marked "Final Sale"

3. Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

Your request should include:

  • Full name

  • Order number

  • Description of the issue

  • Clear photographs of:

    • The product

    • The packaging

    • Any visible damage

Once reviewed, Kiru Ondo may offer:

  • A replacement

  • A store credit

  • A refund

  • Another appropriate resolution

Failure to report damage within the required timeframe may affect eligibility.

4. Return Process

To begin a return request:

Step 1

Contact Customer Support with:

  • Order number

  • Product name

  • Reason for return

Step 2

Wait for return authorization instructions.

Items returned without authorization may not be accepted.

Step 3

Securely package the item using protective materials to prevent damage during transit.

Step 4

Ship the item using a trackable shipping service.

Customers are encouraged to retain shipping receipts until the return is completed.

5. Return Shipping Costs

Unless the return is the result of our error or a damaged item:

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable.

If a replacement is approved due to our error, Kiru Ondo will cover the replacement shipping costs.

6. Inspection Process

All returned items are inspected upon arrival.

Inspection includes:

  • Product condition

  • Original packaging

  • Signs of use

  • Damage caused after delivery

Returns that fail inspection may be returned to the customer without a refund.

7. Refunds

Once a return has been approved and inspected, refunds will be processed to the original payment method.

Please allow:

  • 5–10 business days for refund processing

  • Additional time depending on your financial institution

Refunds will include the purchase price of approved items only.

Shipping charges, expedited delivery fees, and gift wrapping services are generally non-refundable unless required by law.

8. Store Credit

In certain situations, Kiru Ondo may issue store credit instead of a monetary refund.

Store credit:

  • Has no cash value

  • Cannot be transferred

  • May be used toward future purchases

  • May include an expiration period if permitted by applicable law

9. Exchanges

We currently offer exchanges only for:

  • Defective products

  • Damaged items

  • Incorrect items shipped

If the requested replacement is unavailable, a refund or store credit may be provided.

10. Lost or Stolen Packages

Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier and marked as delivered, Kiru Ondo is not responsible for:

  • Lost packages

  • Stolen packages

  • Delivery delays caused by the carrier

Customers should contact the shipping carrier directly to file a claim.

We will assist with documentation when reasonably possible.

11. International Orders

International customers are responsible for:

  • Return shipping costs

  • Customs duties

  • Import taxes

  • Brokerage fees

These charges are non-refundable by Kiru Ondo.

12. Refused Deliveries

If a customer refuses delivery or fails to pay required customs fees:

  • Original shipping charges will not be refunded.

  • Return shipping costs and applicable fees may be deducted from any eligible refund.

13. Fraud Prevention

Kiru Ondo reserves the right to refuse returns or refunds if:

  • The request is fraudulent

  • Products show signs of misuse

  • The return policy is being abused

  • False claims are submitted

Repeated abuse of the return process may result in the suspension of purchasing privileges.

14. Original Artwork & Fine Art Collections

Original artwork is unique and irreplaceable.

Because of its one-of-a-kind nature, all original paintings are final sale unless the artwork arrives damaged during shipping or the incorrect item is delivered.

Customers are encouraged to review product descriptions, dimensions, and images carefully before purchasing.
